Volunteers Still Needed cancia

Please forgive the posting in English. Would someone please translate?

Hi all,
Although we will soon remove the centralnotice that is up, the Wikimedia Strategic Planning project is still looking for volunteers to serve as subject area advisors or to sit on task forces that will study particular topics and make recommend short- and long-term strategies for the Wikimedia projects and Foundation, and the wiki movement.

To apply to serve on a task force or be an advisor in a specific area, visit http://volunteer.wikimedia.org.

The Wikimedia Strategic Planning project is a year-long collaborative process being hosted at http://strategy.wikimedia.org. Your input is welcome there, and will drive the process. When the task forces begin to meet, they will do their work transparently and on that wiki, and anyone may join fully in their work. We hope to include as many community members as possible in the process.

Any questions can be addressed to me either on on the strategy wiki or by email to philippe at wikimedia.org.

I hope you'll consider joining us!

As you have done here, the Dutch wiktionary had loyally adopted the "tile" logo before. It was not our initiative, but we did adopt it. Other people did not and we respect that. We just do not think that people who were not willing to be loyal should now demand loyalty from us for yet another logo. We do not see any reason for a new one and have decided to boycott any new one that the current procedure produces. nl:Gebruiker:Jcwf Jcwf 22:04, 22 nuv 2009 (UTC)[rispunni]

Logo vote cancia

(Scusatemi ma avevo già copiato il messaggio in inglese) The Wiktionary logo vote is set to start 2009-12-07 00:01. Any translations of the voting page must be done before then. The first round will continue until 2009-12-31 23:59 at which point the second round will last until 2010-01-31 23:59. Please note that after this vote, each Wiktionary will hold their own vote whether to accept the winning logo, and none will change to the new logo without a 60% majority of Wiktionaries deciding to do so. Other Wiktionaries still need to be notified about the vote, so please help post messages into other Wiktionaries. Thank you. --Airon90 09:25, 29 nuv 2009 (UTC)[rispunni]

2010 Fundraising Is Almost Here cancia

Hello Wikipedians, my name is Kelly and I am working for the Wikimedia Foundation during the 2010 Fundraiser. My job is to be the liaison between the Sicilianu community and the Foundation. This year's fundraiser is intended to be a collaborative and global effort; we recognize that banner messages which may perform well in the United States don't necessarily translate well, or appeal to international audiences.

I'm contacting you as I am currently looking for translators who are willing to contribute to this project by helping translate and localize messages into Sicilianu and suggesting messages that would appeal to Sicilianu readers on the Fundraising Meta Page. We've started the setup on meta for both banner submission, statistical analysis, and grouping volunteers together.
Use the talk pages on meta, talk to your local communities, talk to others, talk to us, and add your feedback to the proposed messages as well! I look forward to working with you during this year's fundraiser. If someone could translate this message I would really appreciate it so that everyone is able to understand our goals and contribute to this year's campaign. Thanks!Klyman 17:57, 20 utt 2010 (UTC)[rispunni]

Call for image filter referendum cancia

The Wikimedia Foundation, at the direction of the Board of Trustees, will be holding a vote to determine whether members of the community support the creation and usage of an opt-in personal image filter, which would allow readers to voluntarily screen particular types of images strictly for their own account.

Further details and educational materials will be available shortly. The referendum is scheduled for 12-27 August, 2011, and will be conducted on servers hosted by a neutral third party. Referendum details, officials, voting requirements, and supporting materials will be posted at Meta:Image filter referendum shortly.

Sorry for delivering you a message in English. Please help translate the pages on the referendum on Meta and join the translators mailing list.

Terms of Use update cancia

I apologize that you are receiving this message in English. Please help translate it.

Hello,

The Wikimedia Foundation is discussing changes to its Terms of Use. The discussion can be found at Talk:Terms of use. Everyone is invited to join in. Because the new version of Terms of use is not in final form, we are not able to present official translations of it. Volunteers are welcome to translate it, as German volunteers have done at m:Terms of use/de, but we ask that you note at the top that the translation is unofficial and may become outdated as the English version is changed. The translation request can be found at m:Translation requests/WMF/Terms of Use 2 -- Maggie Dennis, Community Liaison 01:15, 27 utt 2011 (UTC)[rispunni]
